An upcoming department activity entitled “llocosnooze Clues: Problema Ti Panagturog Ti Ubbing” being organized by the Department of Sleep Medicine, The Medical City, in collaboration with Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center (MMMH-MC).
The activity will be held on February 28, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 NN, at the 5th Floor Conference Room, Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center, City of Batac, llocos Norte.
This community-oriented educational forum aims to increase public awareness and understanding of common pediatric sleep conditions, particularly Pediatric Insomnia, Parasomnias, and Pediatric Obstructive Sleep Apnea. The target audience includes parents, caregivers, healthcare workers, and members of the general public. The activity is expected to accommodate approximately 100 onsite participants, with additional reach through Facebook Live streaming via e-Pakaammo.
The program will consist of short lectures, an open forum, and free consultations, with the goal of promoting early recognition of pediatric sleep disorders and appropriate referral to healthcare providers. We are sharing this information with PSSM in recognition of the Society’s continuing role in advancing sleep medicine education and advocacy in the country.
